Keppel Konnections ferry transfer departs Keppel Bay Marina 3-4 times daily and is your comfortable and fast way to Great Keppel Island.

Our ferries depart the "RED JETTY" at Keppel Bay Marina. Please check in at the Keppel Konnections office, located in the car park next to the Waterline Restaurant/Keppel Bay Marina building, at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

Baggage: Our baggage allowance is 1 suitcase or backpack + 1 small bag per person + 1 esky
(maximum size 40L due to the manual unloading). Maximum of 23kg per paying
passenger *Please note trolleys are permitted on Keppel Konnections but must be unpacked and folded down before boarding.

Children fares: ages 5-14yrs inclusive.

Infant fares: ages 4 & under

Parking: 

For day trippers, the bitumen carpark outside the marina office can be used. No parking is allowed in the dirt carpark. Any guests staying on the island overnight, secure parking can be organised directly with Cap Coast Storage.

Please make your way to
Keppel Bay Marina - Yellow Ticket Shed near Red Jetty ramp at least 30
minutes prior to scheduled departure, please be on time as late
arrivals will not be accommodated for. When departing Great Keppel Island,
you are required on Fisherman's Beach (roughly where we dropped you off) no
later than 15 minutes prior to the departure time.

Baggage: 1 piece of baggage per person (max 23kg). All eskies must
be 40L or less. Excess baggage may incur an extra fee. Please make sure all
luggage is clearly labelled with your name.

Snorkel Hire & Lunch
and Refreshment Add On:

Grab your snorkel equipment
from Keppel Dive and Snorkel and make your way to Shelving’s
or Monkey Beach. Your snorkel hire is for the entire day, so
it is up to your discretion when you would like to go, just keep an eye on the
time.  Please be aware that this is not a guided tour. As we are not a national park, these tracks are not well signed. We
advise you always talk to Keppel Dive or GKI Hideaway Reception for the best ways to get to your snorkelling spots.

It is a 35-45min bush walk (depending which beach) so bring your best enclosed 
shoes, water bottle, hat and sunscreen! You will need to return you
snorkel equipment to Keppel Dive for 3pm. 

Lunch is available from GKI
Hideaway from 11:30am-2:30pm (extended to 3:30pm on School 
Holidays and Friday & Saturdays). For those with our lunch and refreshment
package, please go to the GKI Hideaway to order. This includes anything off the menu 
including Great Northern beer, house wine, soft drink or water.

 Infants

(under 4 years) travel for free but do not receive a meal. You can add a kid’s
meal as an optional extra for infants.

Please note, not valid on Christmas Day- GKI Hideaway Bar & Bistro is not open.

Departing from the “RED JETTY” Keppel Bay Marina from the Keppel Konnections office. Join us for a cruise in around the Keppel Bay, with a chance to see majestic whales passing by! 

Service departs 3 times weekly during August & September- Thursday, Saturday & Sunday at 11:00am. Please make sure you check in with the Keppel Konnections office 30 minutes prior to departure. Great Keppel Island guest’s can board the 10am departure from the island and join from Keppel Bay Marina, disembarking back to the island at 1:30pm. This can be organised once on island. 

Please be aware that this is 100% on the whales’ terms. There is no guarantee that you will see a whale on your cruise. 

This cruise includes a light lunch with drinks available for purchase on board. Lunch includes a poke bowl or wrap, muffin/cookie and fruit. If you have any special dietary requirements, please advise our team when booking or pop under the “Special Requirements” section when booking.
